Leonardo School

Where students are guided to see the joy, wonder and beauty of the world for themselves. Where students learn to be the change they wish to see in the world.

See the World. Be the Change.

At Leonardo School students are guided to see the joy, wonder and beauty of the world for themselves. The adults at the school serve as guides to help children develop the skills to understand the world through their senses, through their minds and through their hearts. Genuine understanding is developed by personally, intimately, and joyously experiencing their world; that understanding is vitally deepened through communal, compassionate sharing of personal experiences from a diverse spectrum of perspectives.

A meaningful education provides students with tools to behave in just, wise and responsible ways when experiencing the ever-changing wonders of life.  At Leonardo School, students learn to be the change they wish to see in the world. Students learn that knowledge is power to change the world for the better, particularly in the realms of social justice and environmental sustainability. When children learn to see the world for themselves, they can then make wise decisions as global citizens to make the world a better place for themselves and others, for today and for tomorrow.
